The University of Kashmir is inviting online applications for admission to the one-year PG Diploma course in Bio-Informatics for the academic session 2023.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, candidates must have passed B Sc in Life Sciences through a recognized University/Institute.
Mode of Selection
The selection of candidates for the program will be based strictly on the academic merit of the qualifying examinations.
Submission of Online Form
Step 1: The candidates can visit the University website at http://www.kashmiruniversity.net or www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the Admissions link to read the important instructions for registration and submission of the form carefully before proceeding further.
Step 3: Candidates need to register themselves before submitting the online application form by clicking on the “Register as Student” button.
Step 4: After successful registration, candidates can log in to the system to submit the online application form by entering their “Registration No.” and clicking “Next”.
Step 5: They must then enter the required details and upload their latest passport size photograph and click “Next”.
Step 6: If there are any variations, candidates can click on the “Previous” button, make necessary corrections, and then click “Submit”.
Submission of downloaded Application Form (Hard copy):
After submitting the online application form, candidates need not submit the hard copy of the application form but must retain the hard copy of the application form with themselves for future reference, as and when desired during the process of admission.
FEE Details
The non-refundable Application Fee is Rs. 150/- (including IT fee of Rs. 50/-) plus Processing/Entrance Test Fee of Rs. 250/- i.e Rs. 400/-, which candidates must deposit through online mode only.
Important Dates
The important dates are as follows:
- Issuance of Online Application Form: 20-04-2023 and the Last date for
- Submission of Online Application Form and deposition of requisite fee: 02-05-2023.
Application Status
Candidates must check the status of their Application Forms after five days of online submission of the Application Form. In case, the status of the Application is not updated to “Fee Received” or “Fee Reconciliation is Pending”, the candidate should contact the Directorate of Admissions, University of Kashmir, along with the application form and all other documents within two days after the last date of submission of Application Forms. Thereafter, no claim, whatsoever, will be entertained by the University.
