The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the registrations for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 will be re-opened. This announcement comes as a relief to many aspiring medical students who had missed the previous registration deadline. However, the re-opening of registration link has been delayed causing anxiety among the students.
The initial date for re-opening the registration link was April 11, but the link is yet to be activated. As a result, many NEET UG aspirants have taken to social media to express their frustration about the delay. They have been requesting the authorities to take prompt action to re-open the registration link at the earliest.
In response to the concerns raised by the students, the NTA has explained that the delay in activating the link is due to the huge amount of data that needs to be collected and uploaded. According to a senior NTA official, the NIC is in the process of completing this step, and the link will be activated soon, most likely by today evening.
Despite the delay, the NTA has assured students that they will have enough time to complete the registration process before the deadline. The NEET UG 2023 exam is scheduled to take place on August 6, 2023. Students who wish to appear for the exam must register online by the deadline, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
